Riwa is run by Toni Gizdić, a private individual in Croatia, who is the controller of the data described here. For anything on this page, write to hey@riwaplugins.com and you will get a real reply.

What is collected

Only what you type. When you ask for a free tool, that is your email address and your first name if you fill it in. Nothing else about you is asked for and nothing is bought from anyone.

What is not collected

  • No cookies are set by this site.
  • No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording.
  • Your IP address is never stored.

To stop the same person triggering hundreds of emails, and to count downloads without counting the same click twice, a short fingerprint is made from your IP address and browser. It is hashed together with a value that changes every day, so it cannot be tied back to you or followed from one day to the next, and it is thrown away within the hour.

Why, and on what basis

  • To send you the file you asked for. You asked, so the email that carries your download link is part of answering that request.
  • To tell you when a new tool is out. This is consent, given by entering your address, and you can take it back at any time.

Who else sees it

These companies process data on behalf of riwa, and nobody else does:

  • Resend stores the mailing list and sends the emails.
  • Vercel hosts the site and keeps short lived server logs.
  • Upstash holds the counters described above.
  • Cloudflare answers the domain lookups.
  • Google Workspace is where replies to hey@riwaplugins.com arrive.

Your address is never sold, rented, or handed to anyone for their own purposes.

How long

Your address stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted, and it is removed within days of either. Download counts are numbers only, with nothing in them that points at a person.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one message to hey@riwaplugins.com does any of the rest. If you think your data is being handled badly, you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
